A Letter From the Founder
For over two decades, I’ve worked in one of the most high-stakes environments imaginable — a Code Blue, where a patient has only moments, and time and decision-making mean the difference between life and death.
Running a Code Blue is like conducting an orchestra. You guide your team, and through their skill, the patient is intubated, chest compressions begin, medication is given, the patient is shocked — and brought back to life. And when it’s done right, it becomes more than medicine — it becomes a kind of art.
That’s what Ecliptic is to me.
Building a space hotel is much the same. It’s a multi-system orchestration — like the most critical Code Blue I’ve ever run, but for the future of humanity. Everything has to come together: legal infrastructure, partnerships, funding, architecture, design. And just like in medicine, there’s no one else to pass the responsibility to. You just step in and do it.
I grew up on Star Wars, Star Trek, 2001: A Space Odyssey. Like millions of others, I dreamed of space. But if we all dreamed about it, why haven’t we made it a priority? Why are we still living in traffic jams and algorithm-driven outrage, obsessed with retirement accounts, while staring at a universe full of potential?
Everyone’s waiting for someone else to go first.
So here I am.
Ecliptic is more than a company. It’s a reminder of what humanity can be when we look up together. It’s about returning to awe, to imagination, to a shared sense of purpose beyond the noise.
This isn’t just a hotel in orbit — it’s an invitation to a better future. One where beauty, comfort, and meaning exist even beyond Earth.
Let’s build that future.
